The device module manages recorded devices and what they can access, including connection policies, assignable roles, and the path permissions used by those roles.
Device permissions control which file operations are allowed on a specified path. Each entry includes a path, notes, and operation permissions, with an option to apply to children.
Roles combine Device permissions into assignable access policies. Each role contains a name, notes, and permissions. Assign it to a device in Manage devices.
View, search, and maintain recorded devices, with separate policies for inbound access and accessing other devices. A device menu edits its name or deletes that device. Selection mode changes connection methods and access roles or deletes several devices together.
Send files or folders to a chosen device on the same local network. Senders can view request states and history; recipients can save, view, or reject content and configure authorization and receiving directories for each device.
